Immersion education for children's brains
IBK provides individualized care and education for each child. In particular, we have a variety of initiatives to ensure that children can enjoy their days in an English environment.
Since the school's opening, we have been offering "immersion education," which is an education that incorporates languages other than Japanese, the children's mother tongue, into their daily lives. We mainly use English in our school, but we also have Chinese lessons twice a week to broaden the children's future.
By the time the children graduate, many of them will be able to carry on daily conversations in English.

First time in Japan
"Learning Activity" and "Dramatic Play"!
"If it's not fun, it's not education.
We place importance on nurturing not only the language aspect, but also the "five senses" of the children. We are constantly working to provide a variety of experiences to enhance the children's curiosity.
For example, Learning Activity to think about science and Dramatic Play to acquire communicative conversations through real experiences are programs that our school was the first to introduce in Japan.
In addition to daily lessons, we hold various events throughout the year, so please refer to our events page!

We work with parents on their children's care and education.
IBK is constantly evolving, incorporating the best of the best, while also communicating with parents and providing consultation and assistance on childcare and education. By learning English, we want children to develop their potential and grow up to be useful members of society. We want them to grow up to be leaders of Japan and the world.
It is with this in mind that I will continue to work with children.

History
- Year 2006 - Began offering childcare education for 2 and 3 year olds in the Umeda area of Osaka as the first English language childcare and kindergarten in Japan to incorporate dramatic play and learning activities. |
---|
- Year 2010 - Expanded to four classes, offering English language care and education for 2, 3, 4 and 5 year olds. |
-Year 2018 - Reviewed and approved by Osaka City as an unlicensed daycare center for 3, 4, and 5 year olds eligible for free education. At the same time, the main facilities were completely renovated and renewed. |
- Year 2020 - A large increase in the number of nursery teachers and native teachers in all classes to further ensure safety and enhance education. For the third year in a row, we will be certified by the City of Osaka as a school eligible for free early childhood education and care at unapproved childcare facilities for 3, 4, and 5 year olds. |
- Year 2021 - The entire existing facility was expanded to accommodate six classes. The total area of the increased floor space will be 750M2, making it the largest English-language childcare and kindergarten in the Umeda area of Osaka City. (*According to our own research) The main reason for the increase in floor space is to further strengthen the safety and security of the children, by greatly expanding the space of each classroom, we have been able to enhance the safety and security of the children and provide a more relaxed environment for childcare, English learning, Chinese learning, Japanese learning, etc. We have also expanded the classroom space to provide a more spacious environment for learning activities and dramatic play. In addition, each class is taught by three teachers (1) a foreign teacher, (2) a Japanese nursery teacher, and (3) a nursery assistant, which is unparalleled in other international preschools and kindergartens. |
